An amusingly clever adaptation of Gypsy Rose Lee’s G-String Murders, this entangled tale of blackmail, murder and sex stars Barbara Stanwyck as sassy Dixie Daisy, a steamy new attraction at a burlesque theater. Unpopular with the other jealous divas who vie for top spot, matters become complicated when two dancers are found murdered and Dixie becomes the prime suspect. Being the only hope to prove her innocence, Dixie sets up a trap to catch the killer.
